Data Collection

The Technology Profiler extension does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data or browsing information to external servers.

Local Processing

All technology detection happens locally in your browser. The extension:

• Analyzes HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP headers of websites you visit
• Stores detection results temporarily in your browser's local storage
• Does not send any data to external servers

Permissions

• activeTab: To analyze the current webpage
• storage: To cache results for faster display
• webRequest: To read HTTP headers for technology detection
• tabs: To manage results per browser tab
• <all_urls>: To analyze any website you choose

Third-Party Services

This extension does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or data collection services.
